My experience
Unfortunately, I was only in Shreveport in the morning and wasn't able to go inside because their hours were 3pm-10pm when I went by (now they're 6am-10pm). All I accomplished was taking a few pics, but I'm going back in January 2024 and will get pictures of the inside then.
Elvis history
Elvis only did one commercial during his entire career/life. He did one commercial for Southern Maid Donuts on November 6, 1954. He sang their jingle, "You can get 'em piping hot after 4pm, you can get 'em piping hot. Southern Maid Donuts hits the spot, you can get 'em piping hot after 4pm." Elvis loved their donuts so much, that he asked to be compensated with a box of their donuts and nothing else.
There are no known copies of the recording. I've emailed Southern Maid Donuts multiple times in the past six months with no response.
