My experience
Definitely not the easiest thing to find in Tupelo. It's inspired by a downtown feature, but is nowhere near downtown. The only thing I could find on the internet listing a semblance of an address, was my source (listed below) that noted a street corner, with no actual address. The statue is in the warehouse district. They should definitely move it to the downtown strip, so people actually see this treasure, because you won't see it, if you aren't specifically looking for it.
About the sculpture
According to Larry Michael, the giant guitar sculpture was inspired by the painted metal guitar statues that line downtown Tupelo's Main Street. Michael said he's a big Elvis fan and had this sculpture made as a way to promote Tupelo, as well as for the enjoyment of the city and its employees.
The guitar has built-in speakers that play Elvis XM Radio 24/7. It also features an image of Elvis etched in bulletproof glass in the sound hole, and Elvis' signature on the neck of the guitar. Lastly, it lights up at night - it's not overly impressive (lol), but it does.
